An Evening with Living Arts was held at the Masonic Temple in Detroit on April 19. About 300 people attended the event to raise money for Living Arts — a nonprofit that provides art education to nearly 3,000 Detroit youth. The evening included a pre-glow reception with art demonstrations by students and performances by Living Arts students and instructors. “Living Arts is so proud to have some of Detroit’s most exciting artists as mentors and instructors for our youth,” Living Arts executive director Alissa Novoselick said in a statement. “This event is a celebration of off their amazing work and the creativity they inspire in our Detroit students.”
