The Ferndale-based nonprofit Affirmations held its annual gala at MGM Grand Detroit on April 14. Affirmations serves people of all sexual orientations and gender identities, and the gala celebrates Metro Detroit’s LGBT community. The event included live entertainment, dinner, drinks and was emceed by Fox 2 News reporter Charlie Langton.
